Therefore\, the short form of the purpose is\, the purpose of Wood Badge is to strengthen units. \nEvery staff member and participant must complete a Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record – parts A\, B\, and C. \nAlthough the course is different today\, what Baden-Powell said in 1919 still applies: \n“One of the purposes of Wood Badge training is to get Scouters to think about the practice of Scouting\, to meet together\, to exchange experiences\, and to live together in the spirit of the Scout Oath.”

DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE! \nScouts\, Non Scouts and Families are welcome to attend the 2025 Heart O’ Texas Fall Family Festival.  Come find out what makes Scouting fun for all ages. Kindergarten through 5th Grade youth and their families are encouraged to attend and participate in lots of Scouting activities\, like Cooking\, First Aid\, Camping\, Fishing\, Fire Building\, Rope Bridge and Pioneering\, Geocaching and Map Reading\, Archery\, BB Guns and more.  Find out just how much Scouts do.  There really is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. \nThis date is subject to change based on the Baylor Football Schedule\, but plan to attend our weekend in October.
